On October 8, 2019 at approximately 1928 hours, deputies responded to a home off of N. Goodman Road in reference to a report of a burglary.
The victim advised he returned home and found his home was burglarized. The victim reported numerous items stolen. Upon checking his home surveillance system the victim observed a Hispanic male wearing work utility clothing inside his home.
On October 10, 2019, information was received from a citizen who saw the news story and identified him as Anthony Sanchez-Rosa. After further investigation, Detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of Sanchez-Rosa and contacted him at his place of employment. Upon making contact with Sanchez-Rosa, he attempted to flee on foot and was subsequently apprehended. Sanchez-Rosa did not cooperate with the investigation and was transported to the Orange County Jail for Resisting Without Violence and an active warrant for Armed Burglary (Dwelling), Grand Theft of a Firearm and Grand Theft.
