On April 13, 2019, detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit, Gang Unit, and Tourist Policing Unit arrested Jorge Luis Santiago-Collazo for his involvement in three separated armed robberies which occurred along the West 192 corridor. Jorge Santiago-Collazo was targeting victims along 192, either while waiting at the bus stop or along businesses. During one of the robberies, Jorge was armed with a knife and stabbed the victim. The victim in the robbery was treated and released from the hospital with non-life threatening wounds. Through investigative techniques, Jorge was identified and later arrested in the area of Old Vineland Road and 192. Detectives were able to locate and identify items in Jorge’s possession to link him back to the reported robberies. Jorge is currently being held at the Osceola County Department of Corrections on a zero bond on armed robbery charges.
