Attempted Murder Arrest—Shooting

On April 1, 2019, at approximately 2301 hours, this agency responded to 1930 East Osceola Parkway Kissimmee, Florida in reference to a report of a shooting. The investigation revealed that the victim and Dinoshka Montemoino-Colon (suspect) agreed to meet at the above location to settle their personal issues. During this encounter, Montemoino-Colon shot the victim in his lower torso.

While the investigation was continuing, detectives with the Osceola County Intelligence Unit and Violent Crimes Unit were able to locate the suspect in the Meadow Woods area off Landstar Boulevard. Montemoino-Colon cooperated with the investigation, and was subsequently arrested and booked into the Osceola County Jail.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank the detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit and Intelligence Unit for their hard work and dedication to capturing this suspect. Also, thanks to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office for their cooperation with our detectives, during this investigation.
