The City of St. Cloud, along with the City of Kissimmee and Osceola County, invite everyone to explore and learn all about the great outdoors at this family-friendly event on Saturday, November 3rd, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Great Outdoors Day annual event, which helps raise awareness of natural resources and environmental preservation, will be held at the St. Cloud Lakefront. It will include a variety of activities for all ages, including a youth fishing derby, animal encounters, casting demonstrations, environmental games, prizes and much more.
The following organizations will be in attendance: Archbold Biological Station, Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Native Plant Society, City of St. Cloud Public Services, Reedy Creek Improvement District, Haines City Public Works, Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Kissimmee Valley Audubon Society, Suntree Technologies Inc., Osceola County Historical Society, City of Kissimmee, Osceola County Solid Waste, Florida Wildlife Conservation, Florida Trails Association, University of Florida Extension Services, Peghorn Nature Park, OUC, Toho Water, Asha Planning Consultancy, Fresh From Florida, Wild Florida and Gatorland.
