St. Cloud Mayor Nathan Blackwell presented a proclamation May 25 at City Hall to St. Cloud Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Brent Burish (left) declaring the week of May 7-13 as Hospital Week in St. Cloud and called upon all citizens to recognize hospital personnel and facilities throughout the year for their dedication in diligently providing “Healthcare From The Heart”. The mayor also presented a proclamation to St. Cloud Regional Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer Perry Horne, R.N., BSN, (right) declaring the week of May 5-12 as Nurses Week in St. Cloud and called upon all citizens to celebrate throughout the year registered nurses’ accomplishments and efforts in improving the health-care system.

 

St. Cloud Mayor Nathan Blackwell presented a proclamation May 25 at City Hall to (left to right) St. Cloud Fire Rescue Chief William Sturgeon, Emergency Medical Technician/Firefighter Raul Ramirez and Paramedic/Firefighter Justin Robinson declaring the week of May 21-27 as Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week in St. Cloud. He called upon all citizens to take time to recognize EMS personnel and to honor their dedication in providing outstanding services to their community and fellow citizens.

 

St. Cloud Mayor Nathan Blackwell and City of St. Cloud Safety and Risk Manager Joe Etter congratulate Public Services Logistics Supervisor Megan Holmberg May 25 at City Hall for her selection as April’s City of St. Cloud Employee of the Month. She was recognized for her efforts in creating a video featuring departmental employees discussing the importance of safety and showing the video during Public Services departmental meetings. As a direct result of this video, she has helped the municipality in reducing the number of accidents, incidents and insurance costs.
