Osceola County, Florida – Is your driver’s license suspended? Do you owe court costs, fees or fines? Need help understanding your legal rights & responsibilities?
Help is available Saturday (July 7) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a ‘He Got Up!’ Legal event hosted at the offices of the Osceola County Human Services Department, 330 Beaumont Avenue.
The event is focused on assisting the homeless, working poor and veterans.
“For three years ‘He Got Up!’ has been directly delivering services to local communities focusing on those who are underserved,” said Commission Chairman Fred Hawkins, Jr. “This is truly an uplifting and inspirational organization. I expect Saturday to be a wonderful opportunity to affirm its commitment to restore and strengthen individuals and families in need right here in Osceola County.”
The event is a collaborative effort with the Courts, government, individuals, faith-based communities and businesses. Assistance will be provided for those looking for referrals, community service and assistance to establish payment plans for non-child support obligations.
As part of the event, the non-profit will provide a free lunch and fun family activities.
