Sports Briefs 2012-12-26

 

Harmony High School

 

Merry Christmas from the Longhorn Baseball team.

 

Boys Varsity Basketball defeated MCC 83-32 and won big over rival St Cloud 54-35. The Longhorns raised $325 for the SC Food Pantry.

 

Boys Freshmen Basketball had their first games 12/8; they lost a close game to Osceola 38-41, but then came back to win the second game over Poinciana 37-20.  The freshmen team played MCC and won to go to 2 - 1. 

 

Boys Soccer defeated East Ridge 4-1 at home.

 

Girls Basketball won a huge OBC game at Poinciana. The Lady Longhors also won at Melbourne High 42-20.

 

Girls Soccer won 8-0 over East Ridge.

 

Boys Wrestling finished 5th out of 21 teams at Palmetto Ridge. Overall the Longhorns has 6 placers led by Andrew Davis placing 1st at 220lb!

 

Girls Weightlifting pushed their season record to 7-4. Harmony defeated Osceola, Gateway, and Liberty in the last weeks.  Individual winners included Emily Fiorelli, Lauren Harris, Addison Hickey and Jeana Pruim.
