Join a Day of Family Fun and Celebration at Creative Inspiration Journey School’s Expo!

Submitted By Patty Marquis

You may have heard St. Cloud’s good news about Creative Inspiration Journey School (CIJS), the brand-new, exciting Reggio Emelia-inspired FREE charter school, opening in St. Cloud in August 2019.  CIJS will offer classes for children pre-K through 5th grade, in a home-like atmosphere, where students learn through success in real-world projects. Now here is an opportunity to enjoy a family fun day at NO COST and learn more about CIJS and its world-renowned educational philosophy! (Google: “The Hundred Languages of Children Exhibit” which has familiarized people worldwide with Reggio Emelia’s unique view of the diverse, multi-faceted and flexible ways that children learn.)

CIJS will hold its Expo on their future homesite at the corner of Old Hickory Tree Road, and Route 192. Saturday, January 12th, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, children will enjoy pony rides, games, sensory activities, a bounce house, rock climbing, good food and so much more.  The PTO for CIJS is already excited and active and has partnered with Party King Inflatables and Jade Meadows Stables to create a fun-filled day for everyone.

Registration is not required but is suggested because of limited ticket availability. To register, visit www.eventbrite.com/e/cijs-ground-breaking-expo-tickets-53124327293

You can call 407-949-0056 or visit www.CIJSstcloud.org for more details.

This is a fabulous way to see what Reggio-inspired project-learning is all about.  Kids can experience hands-on activities, and meet students who are enrolled for fall, 2019. Parents will have the opportunity to talk with staff from the charter management company (Patty Marquis, Ed. S, Sherri Schneider, CPA, and Lynda Crane, Ph.D.) to learn more about the school’s curriculum, activities, collaborative culture, and see the unveiling of the floor plans for the new CIJS school building, specifically designed to facilitate a project-based arts and sciences curriculum.

Everyone is welcome. See you there!
