Kissimmee Elks Lodge to Host Halloween Bash

On Saturday, October 19, the Kissimmee Elks Lodge #1873 will host its annual Halloween Bash from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The annual event will be held in the Lodge’s annex located at 1655 Kings Highway in Kissimmee and is open to the public. The cost is $22 for Elks members and $27 for non-members and includes a buffet style dinner.

The night also includes music provided by DJ’s Mike and Denise, specialty drinks, door prizes, raffles and a 50/50 drawing. The highlight of the event is a costume contest which features a cash prize. Anyone interested in attending is encouraged to purchase tickets before October 12, 2019. After this date, the cost is $30 for Elks members and non-members.

“It’s going to be a fun night and we encourage the community to attend,” stated Terry Hebior, Kissimmee Elks Lodge House Committee Chair.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is an American fraternal order founded in 1868 originally as a social club in New York City. Today, the purpose of the Elks is to promote and practice the four cardinal virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of its members; to quicken the spirit of American Patriotism and cultivate good fellowship.

Locally, the Kissimmee Elks Lodge #1873 invests in Osceola County through programs that support the veterans, ensure children grow up in a healthy drug-free environment and improve the quality of life for residents in our community.
