Originally from the Boston area, In 2003, Antonelli transferred to Orlando, Florida as part of the management division of Wal-Mart, with Sandy, his wife of 39 years.
In 2005, looking for a new challenge, Antonelli took his skills learned in over 3 decades of retail and converted those over to a career in real estate.
Antonelli started his career with a local national franchise and grew his business quickly on his own. By 2008, just three years into his career, Antonelli was ranked as the #12 listing agent for the franchise for the entire state of Florida.
In 2007, Antonelli became the “go-to” guy to help struggling homeowners, and he became known as “that short sale guy” to many in his county. The unofficial name became such a familiar moniker, Antonelli embraced the name and bought the website ThatShortSaleGuy.com. Antonelli was recognized as the #1 short sale listing agent and trainer in Osceola County.
While Antonelli did well in his business, he noticed that all of his success & marketing was done via his own personal efforts. That being said, Antonelli made the decision to go independent and open his own brokerage in 2012, Antonelli Realty.
In addition to selling real estate, Antonelli was the host of the Central Florida Real Estate Show on a local Orlando Radio station.
As the needs for consumers continue to change, Antonelli realized he needed assistance in providing programs and tools of value for both his agents and consumers. He reviewed every Real estate franchise in the market today and found the one that had the correct fit for the way business should be done today, that was NextHome. “All the known real estate companies out there today are still doing business like they did 10 years ago” says Paul “The times have changed and the business needs to change also”.
