LYNX to Hold Public Hearings and Workshops for August 2019 Service Proposal

The Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) has proposed making system-wide efficiencies effective Aug. 25.

The LYNX Board of Directors will vote on the service proposal at their July 25 meeting in the LYNX Central Station (LCS) 2nd Floor Board Room.

Route adjustments will include Link 1, 37, 44, 48, 56, 301, 306 and 443. Schedule adjustments will include time changes on Links 3, 9, 13, 23, 26, 102, 103, 108, 111, 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, 305, 306, 313 and 426. New bus stops will be added to FastLink 418. KnightLYNX 210 Blue will be eliminated.

Public Workshops/Hearings:

· June 19 from 4:45-5:45p.m. (Workshop), 5:45-6:45 p.m. (Hearing) at Kissimmee City Hall.

· June 20 from 4-5 p.m. (Workshop), 5-6 p.m. (Hearing) at Altamonte City Hall.

Comments will be accepted at public workshops and hearings and will be accepted through 5 p.m. on July 12 at golynx.com on the “contact us” page, by mail or delivered to: LYNX Central Station, 455 N. Garland Ave. Orlando, FL 32801 – Attention: Service Change.

The August 25 service proposal changes in Osceola County include:*

Route Adjustments –

· Link 56 – W. U.S. 192/Magic Kingdom – Service to Celebration High School will be eliminated. Minor schedule changes.

· Link 306 – Poinciana/Disney Springs – Evening service will operate via Epcot Center Drive, Continental Gateway, International Drive, Osceola Parkway to Seralago Boulevard. Minor schedule adjustments.

Schedule Adjustments –

· Link 26 – Pleasant Hill Road/Poinciana – Minor schedule adjustments.

· Link 426 – Poinciana Circulator – Minor schedule adjustments.
