Dr. Seela Ramesh is the Director and Founder of the Gastroenterology Institute of Orlando and has provided care to patients for over 10 years in the Central Florida area. Dr. Ramesh is committed to providing excellent, personalized care in a family environment.

Dr. Ramesh is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, which is known worldwide for their Gastroenterology and Hepatology programs. He also studied Internal Medicine at the University of Connecticut. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) and the Crohn’s Colitis Foundation (CCF).

The Gastroenterology Institute of Orlando is located in Kissimmee at 812 West Oak Street, right next to Osceola Regional Medical Center and in Orlando at 1111 South Semoran Boulevard, with offices open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm and closed on Saturday and Sunday. They are also affiliated with HCA Healthcare and AdventHealth, formerly Florida Hospital. Their offices accept most insurances including Medicare, CarePlus, WellCare, Simply, Freedom Health, Humana, Tricare, Cigna, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicaid, Amerigroup, Staywell and Molina.

Dr. Ramesh provides a wide range of procedures such as Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP and feeding tube placements. He also provides comprehensive care for liver diseases such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and Cirrhosis. Other services provided include, but aren’t limited to, Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), EGD, Barrett’s Esophagus, Dyspepsia, Enteroscopy, Abdominal Pain, Gallbladder Disease, Bile Duct Stones, Difficulty Swallowing (Dysphagia), Anemia, Positive Stool Tests, Crohn’s Disease, Ulcerative Colitis, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), Diverticulitis, Hemorrhoids, Colon Cancer Diagnosis and Abnormal Liver Enzymes.
