New Online Service Will Make it Easier to do Business with The City of St. Cloud

Released By City of St. Cloud

The City of St. Cloud is in the final stages of its launch of Community Development, an internet-based software package that allows online access to numerous city resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In the initial phase, the online service will allow users to submit building plans and permits, request inspections, track reviews and monitor building permits. A payment portal will be included in the final phase of the project. Among the departments that will use the Community Development system are Building, Code Enforcement, Environmental Utilities, Planning and Zoning, Public Works and St. Cloud Fire Rescue.

As city staff prepares for the mid-November launch, residents and contractors are being advised that on Friday, November 15 staff will be unable to process plans, permits or licensing. Scheduled inspections will continue during this time. Normal service will resume on Monday, November 18. The City of St. Cloud appreciates your patience as they transition to this new online system and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
