The Osceola County Historical Society hosted the grand opening and ribbon cutting of the 1800s Replica Historic Church featured in the heart of the Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek (2491 Babb Rd. Kissimmee, FL 34746) on June 7, 2017 at 10AM.

The 1800s Replica Historic Church is based on St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. St. Peter’s Church was consecrated in 1898 after Lt. Colonel William Cadman took the lead in raising funds to build the church.

Weddings, vow renewal ceremonies and christenings are a few celebrations that can now take place at the 1800s Replica Historic Church!  This unique venue seats up to 50 guests and includes an intimate bridal suite! http://osceolahistory.org/1800s-historic-church/. The Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek also features a pavilion available for rental.

“With the help of the State of Florida, the Osceola County Historical Society Board of Directors, Volunteers, and Staff have worked tremendously hard over the past two years to create a historically authentic experience for our Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek visitors. We are extremely excited to share the newly opened 1800s Schoolhouse, Train Depot and Church replica buildings with our community visitors and residents.” said Donnita Dampier, Osceola County Historical Society Executive Director.
