Parents Now Have A Choice For Child’s Education

Submitted By American Classical Charter Academy

For parents seeking a choice for their children’s education, American Classical Charter Academy (ACCA) offers a tuition-free, traditional education for children grades K through 6. Focusing on teaching classical education basics, including phonics, grammar, mathematics, science, art and music, ACCA will build a solid learning foundation for each student. As students’ progress through grade levels the ACCA education model of Classical Education will provide structure to assure success throughout their education life and beyond.

The newly constructed American Classical Charter Academy, located at 2395 Hickory Tree Road, in St. Cloud, offers pod-style classrooms with traditional seating arrangements, teacher-directed learning, emphasizing critical problem-solving skills, and with a teacher-to-student ratio of 1:15.

The ACCA school building is constructed on 4.3 acres that has more than 40,000 square feet encompassing classrooms, general activity and cafeteria areas, and administrative space. Students will enjoy a semi-enclosed central grassed activity area located between classroom pods, as well as a paved sports section offering basketball and an activity center.  In addition, the facility has room for growth for more outdoor activities as needed.

As required throughout Osceola County, students will be required to wear designated school uniforms. ACCA has developed a relationship with school uniform retailer, Lands’ End, and families can find a one-stop shop for all student uniform needs at Lands’ End School, landsend@shop.landsend.com. Every purchase of uniform items will also contribute a percent to the Academy, which will help fund additional activities and events.

The community is invited to attend the Grand Opening Celebration of the American Classical Charter Academy (ACCA) on Saturday, August 3rd from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 pm. Activities will include school tours, meet the Principal, Teachers and staff, fun outdoor and indoor activities for children including bounce houses and obstacles courses by local business A Jump Time, build kits from Home Depot, and arts and crafts activities. Information about registration will be available.
