On February 18, 2019, detectives with the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received two cyber-tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, related to the possession of child pornography. The investigation revealed the cyber-tips resolved back to a residence, located at 1804 Valley Forge Drive in St. Cloud. On February 26, 2019, a search warrant was executed on the residence and numerous electronics were seized. A forensic analysis of the devices seized revealed numerous files of child pornography. As a result of the investigation, detectives arrested Albert Vernon Kraus Jr. and charged him with 10 counts of Possession of Photo of Sexual Performance of a Child. At this time, there are no known live victims. This is an ongoing investigation.
