Mayor Nathan Blackwell presents a proclamation to City of St. Cloud Parks and Recreation Aquatics Superintendent Beth Walters and Pool Lead Lifeguard Randy Dunton declaring May as Water Safety Month in St. Cloud. Everyone is invited to the S.O.S. Splash for Our Kids’ Safety event May 27, 12-5 p.m., at the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center. This annual event helps reinforce water safety throughout the community and is open to all ages. The cost is $3 for Osceola County residents and $4 for nonresidents.
