Subjects Arrested for Shooting into a Home

On March 26, 2019, at 1:14 A.M. Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to 3108 Linton Road in Kissimmee, in reference to a shooting. The victims stated they woke up to loud popping sounds and several bullet holes were located in the house. The residence was struck numerous times, however no one was injured. The investigation revealed the shooting was in retaliation to an earlier physical altercation leading to detectives identifying Bernie Bob Velez 2/14/2000 and Peter Garcia Collado 9/22/1999 as the persons responsible for the shooting. The suspects were taken into custody and a firearm was located at the time of the arrests. Velez and Garcia-Collado are charged with Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling.
