The City of St. Cloud and the Pink Heals St. Cloud Charter have teamed up once again to celebrate the 2nd Annual Pinktoberfest event on October 12, in Downtown St. Cloud.

This event helps raise awareness and funds for the St. Cloud Charter of Pink Heals. Pink Heals is a non-profit healthcare support group that provides financial and emotional support for families battling cancer, within the city. All funds raised at the event will stay in St. Cloud.

The Pinktoberfest event, that runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., kicks off with health and wellness exhibitors, community business vendors and a kid zone. At 12 p.m., be prepared to register your team for the pink fire truck pull. The proceeds of this competition, that starts at 1:30 p.m., also go to support the St. Cloud Charter of Pink Heals.

During the event, the following streets will be closed beginning at 6 a.m.:

· New York Avenue will be closed from 10th Street to City Hall

· 9th Street will be closed from City Hall to Pennsylvania Avenue

Event sponsors include Experience Kissimmee, Shamrock Auto Body, Duke’s Brewhouse and Kisselback Ford.
