The Community Hope Center, a holistic program providing assistance to homeless and near-homeless families in Osceola County, is hosting a Black-Tie Bowling event, “Strike for Hope,” on Sunday, March 10, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. The event will be held at Disney’s Spring’s Splitsville Luxury Lanes located at 1494 E. Buena Vista Dr., Lake Buena Vista, FL. The proceeds of the event will go to help The Community Hope Center provide services to those facing poverty in our community.
“We are so excited to have such a fun event at Disney Springs that will in-turn help us serve hundreds of families who look to us for support,” said Rev. Mary Downey, Community Hope Center Founder and CEO. “Plus, it’s a good opportunity to come out and have some fun for a great cause.”
The Community Hope Center was founded in 2013 in partnership with Community Presbyterian Church of Celebration by Downey and in the last six years has served over 27,000 individuals facing poverty. Last year, the Community Hope Center was awarded the prestigious Bob Allen Award by Walt Disney World Resorts and were also supported by AdventHealth Celebration, the City of Kissimmee and Bank of America.
